All the text has disappeared from Firefox and Thunderbird

Hi,

Running Slackware64 13.1 here. I started up Firefox this morning and all the text is completely blank - all the menus have disappeared and everything. I can't really think of a great way to explain it clearly so I've attached screen grabs of Firefox and Thunderbird (which has the same problem). Other GTK apps seem to be fine, it's just the Mozillas as far as I can tell.

I have tried removing both with:
removepkg mozilla-firefox
removepkg mozilla-thunderbird

Followed by:
rm -rf /usr/lib64/mozilla

And then I reinstalled both Firefox and Thunderbird from .txz files I downloaded from a respository, but they're still the same. Firefox version is 3.6.3 and Thunderbird is 3.0.4.

Anyone have any suggestions please?

Can you list out the error messages you see when you run the firefox from the terminal ? It may help others to get insight of your problem.

I'm not sure what's going on here though. I have gtk-qt-engine installed and it doesn't matter what the font setting or them is, the result is the same.

Thanks for that anishakaul!

After googling the error from the terminal I found this: http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view...5431&forumId=1

I reset the fonts to default in KDE System Settings and it solved it.
