64bit -current framebuffer problems?

oh hai

I am using 64bit -current, stock kernel, installed directfb and qingy using alienbob's scripts, booting with lilo, and using vga=791

I do see the boot logo (tazmanian devil with a beak strapped to it???) and resolution appears to be 1024x768 but qingy tells me that there is a problem with my framebuffer and i should enable framebuffer console support.

splashy also tells me that my framebuffer is not configured properly (also installed from alienbob's site)

I do not recall there being anything special I needed to do previously (i re-installed fresh with the "release" of RC2) apart from that now I am using ext4 and i am not using a custom kernel. Any advice would be much appreciated.

For the sake of posterity, the problem was with the directfb.slackbuild. Having re-built the package with src2pkg and re-installing, I no longer have an issue.

Well, splashy still errors
Code:
(!) [16867:    0.000] --> Caught signal 11 (at (nil), invalid address) <--

 Splashy caught signal number 6. Exiting...

But that is not so important.
