64-current, multilib, cursor is one character on the right when clicking in some GUIs
Hi,
when using xsane (and some other applications), when I click on the scan file name, the cursor is placed one character to the right of the position where I clicked.
I didn't try on a fresh install.
I use Xsane frequently, what do you mean "when I click on the scan file name"? In the scan mode selection for like Save? I am not seeing any issues as you describe, cursor is being placed in the correct place.
In the main window, there's a place where you can set the file path/name prior to the actual scan.
If the file is called "file" and I click between "i" and "l", the cursor appears between "l" and "e".
Thanks. I tried both Firefox and SeaMonkey, when using "Save Page As..." in both, it a "Save As" dialog with the recommend file name selected/highlighted (extension is not selected/highlighted). I tried several times, cursor goes where I put it. I am watching for this no during my daily usage, both on this computer and a laptop I use. So far, cursor goes were I click.
What desktop are you using? I am using KDE
If KDE, are you using Plasma or Wayland? I am using Plasma.
