Question 14.1, chromium-50.0.2661.75-x86_64-1alien, HTML5 playback

Hi all,

Youtube and Vimeo playback is broken after I updated; it's fine in Vivaldi (from slackbuilds) and bundled Firefox.

I haven't figured out if and where it logs anywhere. I get sound but no picture.

Eric's builds are usually flawless, I suspect it's something in this specific version of Chromium; anyone else using it?

Just tried YouTube with Alien's latest Chromium and it worked.

Hmm, I just updated my laptop too and that is fine, which is not the ideal scenario...so it's something else

I'll do some more digging and if I can rule out Chromium (looks like it at the moment) I'll come back and mark this solved.

Do you have any links to videos we can test? I'm using AlienBOB's build as well and don't have any problems so far.

In my case, it's anything on Youtube or Vimeo.

Okay, found a solution that worked for me. I suspected something might be broken in my profile, so I deleted:

Code:
~/.config/chromium
It now works. Obviously, you have to sign in again and all that jazz.

I'm not sure which part of that directory was the culprit - probably only one thing.

I've now returned to my desktop this morning and same problem again. More troubleshooting, I suppose...
