[SOLVED] Lagrange build error on 14.2_64 multilib

Hi all,

As the topic says, there's a problem with building Lagrange
(desktop GUI client for browsing Geminispace) on 14.2_64 multilib.

FYI I cloned the repo and followed official 'How to compile' guide from here:
https://github.com/skyjake/lagrange#how-to-compile

All dependencies are present, but this particular error breaks
the build process.
https://termbin.com/ct4u
(Sorry but I couldn't paste terminal output here. Some funky characters appeared.)

I can see there's a problem with /usr/include/openssl/ssl.h
and /usr/include/openssl/x509.h but that's about it - I'm clueless.

Any help would be appreciated!

hi konmit,

slackware 14.2 doesn't ship openssl-1.1.1, that is provided only on slackware current (I tested building lagrange on that platform and it builds fine).

Oh, my bad. Thanks, ponce.
I guess I'll wait for 15.0 stable.

Solved.
