Question [Slackware-current] 'slackpkg new-config' stopped working

On Slackware64 15+current 'slackpkg new-config' stopped working. If I get .new files in an update they display at the end of that. If I keep them then run that command to show them again, it stopped working (just says none exist when I have many .new files somewhere in /etc).

The rule:
Code:
        FILES=$( find \
                ${ROOT}/etc \
                ${ROOT}/var/yp \
                ${ROOT}/usr/share/vim \
                -name "*.new" \
                ${ONLY_NEW_DOTNEW} \
                -not -name "rc.inet1.conf.new" \
                -not -name "rc.wireless.conf.new" \
                -not -name "group.new" \
                -not -name "passwd.new" \
                -not -name "shadow.new" \
                -not -name "gshadow.new" 2>/dev/null |
                sort -V 2>/dev/null )
It reminds me that rc.inet1.conf hasn't been updated

Could it be slackpkg+ messed it up?

I use slackpkg with slackpkg+ on Slackware64-current.

slackpkg new-config is working just fine for me. I scattered several *.new files throughout the /etc/ tree. slackpkg new-config found them
all.
