[ANN] compat32pkg 1.4.110408 build 7 (maintenance release)

Hello Slackers,

This maintenance release includes a new version of the 32-bit layer configuration file (ie /etc/compat32pkg/multilib-32bit-packages.lst). This update is needed
as the layer-32 lacks the packages startup-notification, xcb-util, and libpciaccess.

The packages startup-notification and xcb-util are required by firefox 32-bit 4.0 and later, as pointed out by marnold in this post.

The package libpciaccess is required by mesa dri driver for intel i965 (at least) as pointed out by Martinus2u in this post.

As always, you can grab this maintenance release at compat32pkg's website, or, using this direct link.If you update from a previous release, do not forget to
replace the old multilib-32bit-packages.lst by the new one. Furthermore, users of compat32pkg 1.3.110319 and later can directly update their 32-bit layer
configuration file using compat32pkg in mode --layer-32-config as shown below :

Code:
$ compat32pkg --layer-32-config update

Hello Slackers,

Well, 1.4.110408 build 7 is now available (wow build-6 was outdated quickly). This maintenance release comes with a new revision of 32-bit layer configuration file.
This time, the packages gtk+ and glib were added to the 32-bit layer as they're required by some 32-bit softwares (at least epsxe) as pointed out by ponce in this post.

This new revision is available here. I also updated the direct link given in my my original post to avoid any confusion. As a reminder, users of build-6 can simply update their
32-bit layer configuration file as shown below :

Code:
compat32pkg --layer-32-config update

compat32pkg ver. 1.4.110408 (stable)

Once the new compat32pkg (or the new 32-bit layer configuration file) is installed, upgrading the 32-bit layer should give you something like this :

Code:
compat32pkg --mirror @WorldWide-13.37 --upgrade layer-32

compat32pkg ver. 1.4.110408 (stable)

[--upgrade] Started on Thu Aug 25 15:33:39 2011
