For Vivaldi, you just need to re-enable the repo.
If you won't do this, you will have security holes in future.

Everything has been removed except photomatix, protonvpn, synology as these are packages I re-installed after the update. I use them on a daily basis, and will see if there are repos available.

Vivaldi repo has been re-enabled.

same upgrade problem as Quee

Hello Pentium4User,

I found this thread because the same thing happened to me when I wanted to upgrade my Thinkpad T480 from Ubuntu 20.10 to 21.04:

"Error during update. A problem occurred during the update. This is usually some sort of network problem, please check your network connection and retry." I tried updating with different stable internet connections and it was always the same error.

My question is: how did you identify which repositories should be deleted? Can I somehow check that myself or would it be OK to post the output here and you could help me what I should get rid of?

Many thanks for your help

If you follow the process above, you will basically get rid of everything that is described as "No available version". Good luck. My update has been running fine with no issues since the fix.

Thank you Quee! I did all the above steps but I believe my problem in the end was a missing public key as described here in sections 27 and 28 of the thread: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread....2463132&page=3 once I added that key I was able to install Ubuntu 21.04.
