Ubuntu 19.10 is crushing suddenly

Good morning

I am having a horrible problem which I couldn't understand what is it exactly.

I have downloaded the ubuntu 18.04 one week ago and I had this error
Faild to rotate /var/log/journal
Or this error
Ex4-fs error, reading block 0

Then I upgrade it to ubuntu 19.10 and the same problem here suddenly it crushes and I can't do anything.

My laptop is ACER NITRO 5
and I have a SSD hard drive.

Thank you in advance for helping

Ex4-fs error
You mean ext4. Your filesystem is broken, either by software or hardware. However, please describe the crash symptoms. Are there any error messages? The system just stops? What are the circumstances when it stops?

Steps you can take:
  • check the filesystem with e2fsck. If the computer can't be booted, boot from live media and run the file system checker from there. If the checker is successful, try booting from the disk again.
  • simply reinstall. If the problem is not caused by hardware, it will go away.
In both cases, it might be a good idea to think what could have caused this. Did you run any unusual programs? Could you have created an invalid disk layout during installation?
  • if you suspect that hardware is the cause, check the SSD. I don't have a good suggestion for that, but in my experience, the internet knows such things.

Given that the error message mentioned failure to read a block, you might want to run e2fsck with the -c option. This will search specifically for bad blocks. It can be run from your installation disc and I don't think you need to use sudo when you're running from there. You will need the correct device name for the root partition. Do you know that or know how to find it out?
