Ubuntu 19.10 is crushing suddenly
Good morning
I am having a horrible problem which I couldn't understand what is it exactly. I have downloaded the ubuntu 18.04 one week ago and I had this error Faild to rotate /var/log/journal Or this error Ex4-fs error, reading block 0 Then I upgrade it to ubuntu 19.10 and the same problem here suddenly it crushes and I can't do anything. My laptop is ACER NITRO 5 and I have a SSD hard drive. Thank you in advance for helping |

Given that the error message mentioned failure to read a block, you might want to run e2fsck with the -c option. This will search specifically for bad blocks. It can be run from your installation disc and I don't think you need to use sudo when you're running from there. You will need the correct device name for the root partition. Do you know that or know how to find it out?
