/dev/loop0 devices are full causing intermittant unresponsive mouse ubuntu 17.10

Hello,

I have ubuntu 17.10 64 bit on my system with the latest updates. I had noticed that lately programs take longer to open on double click. But if I right click them and click open they open fine for the most part.

So I did my regular troubleshooting. I ran fsck on all my drives and cleared the trash bin etc..
I ran a df cmd in terminal below is my output:
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
udev 3978644 0 3978644 0% /dev
tmpfs 807616 10212 797404 2% /run
/dev/sdb1 87592968 20288700 62811780 25% /
tmpfs 4038076 8 4038068 1% /dev/shm
tmpfs 5120 4 5116 1% /run/lock
tmpfs 4038076 0 4038076 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
/dev/loop0 85760 85760 0 100% /snap/core/3440
/dev/loop1 85120 85120 0 100% /snap/core/3247
tmpfs 807612 16 807596 1% /run/user/121
/dev/sda1 960379920 355308388 556217108 39% /home/steve/movies
tmpfs 807612 4352 803260 1% /run/user/1000

I noticed Filesystem both my /snap/core core virtual devices are full. I did some reading online and dont understand how to fix this.

I have tried my mouse as usb and with a ps2 connecter and have the same result

Any help would be greatly appreciated on this.

Hi,
I have gotten my system a little bit more responsive by going into the Disks program and clicking autoclear on both loop devices for now. But I still see my loop devices at 100% full.

Hello,

I think I fixed my mouse issue for now. I had reset my mouse settings about 3 times. I also reset the Gnome settings. Had tried another mouse and found it too was having issues. I went back to my other mouse and it seems like its working.
