Wireshark and QT-5 issue?

Running Slack64-current and just upgraded to AlienBob's October KDE-5 release. KDE works just fine (many thanks Eric). I am trying to build the new release of Wireshark and get many, many errors like the following -

./ui_capture_preferences_frame.h:119:151: error: ‘UnicodeUTF8’ is not a member of ‘QApplication’
captureAutoScrollCheckBox->setText(QApplication::translate("CapturePreferencesFrame", "Automatic scrolling in live capture", 0, QApplication::UnicodeUTF8));

They all have the error: "‘UnicodeUTF8’ is not a member of ‘QApplication’" in common. I think that probably has something to do (correct me if I'm wrong - I'm not a programmer) with the upgrade to qt5 5.9.2. With Wireshark-2.4.1 there were no problems building when qt5 was 5.9.1.

So, can someone please tell me if there is an easy fix for this? Thank you in advance.

I have all of the latest ktown installed & wireshark 2.4.2 installed from the current slackbuilds repository without any problems. Maybe check to see if you got all the updates from ktown.

OK, thanks for the testing. I'll do some more looking to find the culprit.

Mia culpa. I had some old kde crap lying around. After removing that and reinstalling kde5 it built like a charm. Lesson learned = RTFM
