what can we do with wireshark?


hello! I am interested using wireshark. I'd like to try learn it. please can you tell me what is wireshark possibilities and how hard is it to learn?

please READ!!! the wireshark documentation and guides and go through the many tutorials out there

basically please do some basic research

With wireshark you can listen what your neighbors next door are doing in their bedroom.

Well,... You might want to consider taking one of Stanford's free courses:
http://online.stanford.edu/course/in...ter-networking

They probably use Wireshark. I believe they use the Kurose textbook as an option. That probably means that they use the Kurose labs within the course (all Wireshark stuff)...
