Could any mod move all the elogin discussion to an elogin dedicated topic? This has been the only talk on this thread for the past few pages/days, and surely shouldn't had happened at this thread.
So, for you Hibernate/Suspend and NetworkManager works great after latest updates? I'm happy for you!

Personally I don't have the time to build and test another version, being able to check logs and so on. My priority is to have the latest release working.

This 252.23-r1 behaves the same as 255.4 and later versions, according to my experiments.
I raised this point only because I thought it was possible that a second problem was introduced in 255.4-r1 because it and 252.23-r1 have a similar modification, to avoid zombie processes, if I understood correctly.
Anyway, someone already raised this 252.23-r1's similar problem:
Edit: Does not build with current SlackBuild. See below output from Eric's checkpkg.sh
Edit2: Looks like Pat got it sorted. Installed new version
Code:
./checkpkg.sh -l build.log

Maybe its time to pull in a few small wayland centric desktops based on wlroots for next slackware release? labWC (wayland openbox), lxqt-2.0 (explains itself), & sway (wayland i3)? The total sum in additional bytes for all binaries for all three together is small. Maybe its time for some stuff fresher than blackbox, fluxbox, and fvwm?
