I just received this. It works okay. It came without a manual and I can't find one online; the vendor offers no help. Actions Semiconductor makes chips, not players. A search on AK1025 turns up irrelevancies.
The last MP3 player I bought came without a manual but worked like its predecessor, which did. I hoped for the same luck with this one, but it's different.
Looks like maybe a "zicplay zenio 4GB (AK1025)"?
an iPod-like device.
firmware hits up the whazoo.
so, that sticks out...
Hmz...
151,100 hits for ZicPlay User Manuals"
and 59 if I include "type:pdf" in the search, like so https://www.google.com/search?q=ZicP...als+type%3Apdf
The device I have isn't an MP4 player. I think they stole the USB ID of the device to which you refer. I have a simple MP3 player with a different set of controls. I should have said that in the original message.
