Jitsi not working xUbuntu

I've installed Jitsi like many times before following the Jitsi site's documents for installing to Ubuntu.
The Jitsi-meet installs but it does not create any desktop / menu entry while it does install all related programs.

Any one have Jitsi working on Ubuntu / xubuntu ?
