I have RedHat WS 3.0 with Kde 3.1 I need to install the latest version of kde to use the last version of kdevelop

When I do yum update I get the following errors:

Package kdelibs needs /etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu, this is not available.
Package kdelibs needs hicolor-icon-theme, this is not available.
Package kdelibs needs redhat-menus >= 1.4, this is not available.

How can I solve this?

I found a way to solve my problem: I commented all lines except the party-updates repositeries in yum.conf

Then did yum update -> this did a minor upgrade of my 3.1.3 install

Then I used synaptic to upgarde kdelibs to 3.3.2 then Kdevelop to 3.1.2.

All fine now
