RPM command does not work anymore!

Dear friends
I use RedHat 8 in a test machine. The most recent test is with PHP - MySQL.
But some days ago the RPM stopped working. I tested with a rrd that I have already installed in some other machines and always works, but in this PC doesn't.

I cant do "rpm -qa", the process sleeps and I have to CRTL-Z and kill the process manually!!

Someone knows what could be happened?
