RHCE exam cost?

Hi,
What is the cost of RHCE exam in india?
Is the course/training mandatory if we have to take RHCE exam?
What is the process of registering for exam? Should we buy any exam voucher?

I prefer taking exam without the training. Your response is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No the $749 does not include training. Looks like they might have raised the price to $799 here in the U.S. What you are interested in is the RH302 exam. This covers only the exam no other training included.

Here is a link to the India, description on the exam in India. http://www.redhat.in/training/course/RH302

Lots of luck on the exam if you plan to take it. I plan on doing this exam soon.

I purchased my RHCE302 exam for about $675. I got a discount through my Red Hat rep. I am taking it in January 2008.

The class, with RHCE302 exam, is about $2,500.

People in India get less money for their work. A MUCH lesser then you. If you want equality, I suggest either raising they paychecks, or lowering yours. :-D

EDIT: fixed typo it third sentence.

I am not going anywhere. He is without any thinking at all complaining why is there such a difference between US and India RHCE students, implying it is not fair that RHCE is lower in the country that has 2/3 of it's population without clean drinking water, that is largely responsible for death of 2.1 million children under age of 5, each year.
