Redhat Firewall VPN

I am setting up my Redhat 9 machine as a gateway/firewall from the internet to my network. I would like to setup a VPN on it that would allow Window users to connect to the VPN to connect to other Windows machines on the other side of the gateway.

What is the best way to do this? Once upon a time I messed with FreeSwan and Suse, but I could not get the Kernel to compile correctly. I have not really been able to find a difference between FreeSwan and CIPE. Which would be better for the purpose? Would I need to reconfig the kernal for CIPE? The data traffic needs to be secure as possible, but the setup can not be that complex.

Many, many thanks

David
