After patching the server, the raw devices are not showing up in host os. Multipath and udev rules are set for persistent.
OS-Redhat linux 6.6 after patching
storage - netapp c-mode
I guess the issue here is add parameter. It needs to be changed to 'change'. After doing the below changes to udev rules devices started to appear, but it is only appearing as root user, not to other user(grid) mentioned in udev rules files.
As you've been told before, don't bump your own thread after a short time...we volunteer our time, and answer when/if we can. Also, all you DID manage to do is to remove your post from the zero-reply list, MAKING IT LESS VISIBLE.
And in that other thread, you said you were going to use the Red Hat support that you were PAYING FOR. You don't say where you got the idea to modify the udev rules, but you should look in to how the rule you put in was configured for a solution. And again, Red Hat can help you, since you're paying for RHEL. You also STILL don't tell us what, exactly, you're using...you say "Cisco UCS"...but don't tell us model or how it's configured, as you were asked the last time you posted about this issue.
Again, use the support you're paying for, both from RHEL and Cisco FIRST. If you're going to post here, read the 'Question Guidelines' link in my posting signature, and provide COMPLETE DETAILS when asking a question. There is NOTHING we can do to help you without details.
I did not removed it on purpose. I just closed it marking as solved but then i encounter another problem so i thought of putting it into redhat distribution forum, and i have also opened case with redhat and they are working which is taking time, so i thought of putting it to forum thinking it may get resolve early.

By bumping your own thread, you removed it...as you were told before, when you were asked not to do this. And you posted the same question twice...which is still against the lq rules
And AGAIN, you STILL aren't providing details. If you want help, answer the questions.
