Problems when installing Redhat 9

I have two hard drives 20GB 40GB. I have WindowsXP installed on my system. Both hard drives have a NTFS (or FAT32, I'm not sure) file system.
When I try to install redhat 9 I get this error: Could not allocate requested partitions. Partitioning failed : Could not allocate partitions as primary partitions.

I installed redhat9 before and I didn't have any problems.

you would need to shrink those partitions using a parition resier first. don't use redhat 9 though, it's pretty old now, and for all i'd imagine, fedora 4 can resize ntfs for you...

Thanks acid_kewpie, I did it, I'm 'talking' from linux now. With partition magic I resized one of the hard drives and the installation was normal.

To get Fedora Core I need to either spend 30$ or spend 5 days downloading it. I have a 64kbps , usually I can download with 7kb/s. Red hat is good for me now, because I'm a newbie and usually I can find solutions in forums. I mostly use gcc anyway.
