Problem with Twinmos B series WLAN cards in Linux

Hi guys,

It's me Mukaddim from Bangladesh. Some days ago I bought TwinMOS B Series WLAN cards from the market (Both PCI and PCMCIA), Model no B103 and B111.

The CD along with the cards contain drivers for RedHat 7.2, 7.3 and 8.0. Unfortunately, those drivers are not working in my PC. I've installed the updated wireless tools (wireless tools 26 and 27-beta) to overcome the situation. But nothing happened.

When I connected the PCMCIA WLAN card to my laptop, and activated the commands written in the manual, the command

iwpriv wlan0 wlan_para ssid=<access point ssid>

didn't work. It was shown that:

Invalid command: wlan_para.

No I'm facing problem to set up a wireless LAN. Now the WLAn cards have no connectivity with the access point (G-AP-10 by TwinMOS).

Can u please help me in this context? Please give me some idea how I can get out of this horrible situation.

No more today. Bye.

Mukaddim Pathan
Bangladesh.
