Is there any out of the box solutions that allow you to manage print queues on RHEL 5.8.

Have a bunch of local queues on two app nodes that I'd like to be able to:

start / stop queue
redirect the queue
cancel jobs

does the basic cups web interface page allow for those fucntions? Any helpful links?


If cups doesn't, what i actually seen before on an AIX system is a perl scripts that are managed through a web interface to view the queues and make changes.

Anyone have any helpful places to start?

Yes, you can manage print queues via the cups web interface as well as CLI commands.
