no network RHEL 6b2

I've just installed RHEL 6beta2 (using KDE desktop & cable modem) and cannot get it to connect to network/internet. Ihere are no hardware issues; same rig will connect to internet using a live cd. Googled around for a while, but can't find any help. Does anyone know how to do this?

open a terminal and assume root type ifconfig if you see your eth0 is up and running then good. if you do not see the eth0 then type
ifconfig eth0 up then type dhcpd eth0.This should connect you.

May be some one knows all the gui programs for redhat we will see.

Network connection for RHEL Beta6 is set with NetworkManager, in upper right corner, next to the clock (If I remember correctly. System-config-network application from RHEL 5 was thrown out.

If you have not set network while installing, then network will be initially disabled/not configured.
