Hi, I am a nube as well but as far as I know. When you plug it in, it should mount it automatically.

If its not doing that you want to go through help on using the mount command.

So if you run $man mount - It will give you the usage.

Just an eg.
I have ntfs partition and a linux partition.
I have had to install a package from www.linux-ntfs.org/ as by default RHEL4/5 dont support ntfs.

#mount -t ntfs /dev/sda2 /mnt/ntfs

/mnt/ntfs is a folder I've had to create.
/dev/sda2 is what I found out from the H/W browser.

hi, if you are using RHEL5 than go to system.
Check Hardware Browser.

It has to be listed there as /sda2 or /hda3, etc. Let me know what it is listed there as.

AND you said that you tried the mount command. post the error it gave.
