Question Locate stopping on me by itself

Ok, so I am not totally new to htis, but I am totally stumped.

I tried finding a file, usually I use Locate. Easy enough command to use.

Well doing a search for *.iso files, right after updating the db here is what I got

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

[root@localhost root]# locate *.iso

[1]+ Stopped locate *.iso
[root@localhost root]#

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I know this not supposed to happen, and when I fg it, same thing

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

[root@localhost root]# fg 1
locate *.iso

[1]+ Stopped locate *.iso
[root@localhost root]#

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

NE1 else run into this issue?

Try 'slocate' instead and see if that works. I'm not sure why this problem is occuring though..

Cheers,
