"if it runs on Windows, it runs on RHEL" = true?

I am reading in this article...
http://arstechnica.com/business/news...r-business.ars
...that if software runs on Windows, it runs on RHEL. Is that actually true?

That would be pretty serious, because the statement comes from the one of the leaders at Red Hat.

Actually

"runs on" != "supported on" ...

WINE will only run some windows *.exe programs

just like MinGW only builds and runs some Linux programs
or CygWin runs only some Linux programs

but the full quote
Quote:
"We never ever go into a customer and say, 'There's an application that's not supported on RHEL,"
Cormier said. "If it's supported on Windows, it's supported on RHEL."
the paid for support for server applications
or the type of server application

running MS office 2010/2012 would be a bit "fun" on a RHEL 6 box

but interacting with MS's AD....
