I want to connect to internet using RHEL5 need guidence


I am using Dareglobal DB108 ADSL modem (TYPE I) provided by BSNL. I want to connect to internet using RHEL5. Please suggest me the step by step procedure for this thanx as I m in trouble.....thanx..I got dual boot system internet is working fine with windows

The simplest way would be to configure your router to be connected to the pppoe connection. Where you also enable dhcp server
Then just do a dhclient eth0 and you should be done.

but how previously I tried to configure using commands
#adsl-setup
n then interactive configureaton
connection was up bt was nt able to connect to net..is ther ny configuration required for browser (firefox) and what if I give dns name as "server" that means ma ISP will provide dynamic IP
