Thumbs up how to migrate windows 2003 server active directory with linux


hi everybody

this is vinoth. im using redhat el5 . i want to migrate windows 2003 server active directory with redhat linux el5 2.6.18-8.el5
.pls help me do it this one.

Have you looked at Samba ? .. depending on your AD usage you may not be able to replace it with anything else - think Group Policy, Exchange .. etc

What exactly do You want to migrate?

For user authentication one can use LDAP + client configuration (*nix -- PAM or specified service, e.g. SSH).
For shared files/printers Samba + CUPS
