How to install the bootparamd package or check if it is installed on rhel 7?

Hello,
switching a distribution is a horrible setback. Even simple things turn into a huge task. This is mine: man bootparam.
On debian/ubuntu it is installed with the distro basic install, and if it weren't a "simple"

Code:
sudo apt-get install bootparamd
would do it.

But on rhel I feel like completely dump.

Code:
man bootparam
    No manual entry for bootparam
So looks like I have to install the bootparamd package (google reveals it is the package at least on fedora so I guess this is the way to go)

Code:
sudo yum install bootparamd
    Loaded plugins: amazon-id, rhui-lb
    No package bootparamd available.
    Error: Nothing to do
Hmmh...

Code:
sudo yum search bootparamd
    Loaded plugins: amazon-id, rhui-lb
Warning: No matches found for: bootparamd
    No matches found
Googleing for man bootparam rhel reveals the manpage and it is section 7. Maybe...

Code:
man 7 bootparam
Ok, that does the trick but that still leaves the question: How to install or deinstall that bootparamd package?

$ man 7 bootparam : The file bootparam* is from the package `man-pages' :
/usr/share/man/man7/bootparam.7.gz

The package 'bootparamd' is not available for RHEL 7.
But you can probably build an RHEL 7 bootparamd package from the Fedora 18 source SRPM
http://archives.fedoraproject.org/pu...6.fc18.src.rpm
Or from the Fedora 22 source SRPM ...
http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedo...1.fc22.src.rpm
( RHEL 7 is based on Fedora 18 .. 20 ).
The build command is $ rpmbuild -bb bootparamd.spec
