I am using RHEL 4 Desktop. I want to install Yum and its dependecies on this and set it up in a way that it can update from other Fedora Core 3/centos repositories. How can I use apt to install yum and its depencies. Please help !!

Why do you want to use yum? if your RHEL is a legal you can use up2date instead of yum or if you are using a illegal RHEL I strongly suggest you to consider using CentOS.

then take a look at

this should work just fine however if you need extra repos go to

apt, rhel, yum
