Getting data from other drives help me!

I've been using Linux for a while, although only for a little programming and browsing the web. I just did a new install of RH9 and Ximian Desktop 2. I want to be able to see/read/write files on my other drives, which are currently all NTFS. In Mandrake, these drives could be found in /mnt and also be found in /mnt using Knoppix (Live CD version if you don't know). I'm logged into the Ximian Desktop and I've searched everywhere for the other drives and can't find them. In /mnt I have my DVD rom, cd-rw, and floppy.

The hard drive I am running RH from is a 200 gig on a PCI adapter. I have about 20 gigs for Linux and the rest is a NTFS partition for Windows. I have an 80 gig drive as my primary drive that is only 1 partition containing XP and mp3's, pictures, etc. The other drive is a little 6 gig with some more random files on it.

I'm basically a Linux newbie, so can anyone tell me how to atleast see the data from my other drives?

In Red Hat there are no NTFS driver shipped in-box.
You should manually install the kernel module and mount NTFS partitions.

Go to http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/
There are detailed explanation and files needed.

Hey thanks, I can see the files now! Unfortunately, I can't get any mp3s to play in xmms or Noatun. I copied a couple songs from my windows drives to my desktop and they just won't play. I can see previews of images though, and they open fine in the file browser window. I guess I'm going to take one problem at a time here.

You have to install the xmms plug-in for mp3. You can get it here --> http://havardk.xmms.org/dist/xmms-1.2.7-rh8-rh9-rpm/
