FATAL: Module off not found while restarting the Network Service Redhat 6.4


Dear All,
Greetings !!

Has anybody faced the below mentioned issue while restarting the netwok service & Is their any Impact if i will ignore this issue

# service network restart

Shutting down interface bond0: [ OK ]

Shutting down interface eth2: [ OK ]

Shutting down interface eth6: [ OK ]

Shutting down loopback interface: [ OK ]

FATAL: Module off not found.

Bringing up loopback interface: [ OK ]

Bringing up interface bond0: Determining if ip address xxxxxx is already in use for device bond0...

[ OK ]

Bringing up interface eth2: Determining if ip address yyyyyy is already in use for device eth2...

RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument

[ OK ]

Bringing up interface eth6: Determining if ip address zzzzz is already in use for device eth6...

RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument

[ OK ]

FATAL: Module off not found.

this is redhat so you do have assess the the redhat knowledgebase
have you loged into the redhat site and done a search for that error ?

there should be a whitepaper or guide or a listing

That error means you have some misconfiguration in your eth interfaces.
