Centos 5.3 - 2 CPUs are missing on AMD Phenom II X4
Hi guys!
Not so long time ago I have installed Centos 5.3 on my AMD Phenom II X4 server (I am hosting game servers on it). Only today I noticed, that cpuinfo shows me only two CPUs. I watched for the info in the dmesg and found there that the system boots up only 2CPUs.
Here is some info from the dmesg:

It looks like it's a stepping processor, so the other physical cpu might come in under load.
But you should check the bios for the AGP aperture warning.

Might come... How to put CPUs under load manually? I want to test to be sure that CPUs will come.
Thanks!

You could try CPU burn-in
http://www.howtointernets.com/wiki/i...Test_for_Linux
I would only run the cpu burn-in file and not bother with all the lm sensors stuff.
Just run the file and open up system-monitor or something to see if they come alive.
You may need to run 4 copies of cpu burn-in
What does cat /proc/cpuinfo show you ?

So I found another stress program and made a stress test. But only 2 CPUs was on:

I made some stress tests and in top there are only Cpu0 & Cpu1
It makes me think that there is no kernel support for 4 CPUs... My be I need to put maxcpus=4 into lilo.conf ?
