[SOLVED] Slacko VGA to HDMI

Hello, I have an old laptop that I installed Slacko Puppy on, and I must say I am very pleased with the way it works. I do however have a problem that I thought someone might be able to help me with. I want to use it to play movies to my HD Tv. I purchased a VGA to HDMI cable to connect the two together with, but I get no signal to the tv. I have ran xorgwizard, and rebooted with it connected, but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Laptops often have a key combination to activate second display. Use xrandr utility to see what outputs are connected.

Thank you for your help Emerson. I found it, I guess I just got a bad cable I tried it on my desktop pc and it wouldn't work on it either.
