Need Help Installing Puppy on VMWare Fusion 2 for Mac OS X Snow Leopard!

Hey everyone

I am currently trying to install Puppy 4.30 on a virtual machine that I have set up on VMWare Fusion 2 on my Mac OS X Snow Leopard (on my Macbook).

When I powered up the virtual machine, i booted Puppy with:

puppy pfix=ram

and then after it fully booted up into the live cd, i attempted to use the GParted Partition Manager to partition the virtual machine so I can install Puppy. When I ran the GParted Partition Machine, it informed me that it cannot find any devices to partition. Is it because I am running on a virtual machine? If you have any ideas, or any experience as to how one should go about fixing this problem, PLEASE Let me know

Thanks everyone!

I don't know much about VMWare fusion. Have you tried VirtualBox (www.virtualbox.org) instead? It is a free virtualization software, multiplataform and full of features. I could run Puppy Linux 4.3 and installing it on a virtual hard disk using this software (on an IMac). I used the following setup to install Puppy: 384Mb Ram, 32Mb video, Vesa 1024x768x24, 2GB HD.
