Login automatically without entering an option in the "blue screen" in Puppy 5.2.8

Hello,
I've just started using Puppy 5.2.8 and I'm most impressed. I've always been a pup fan but this is the first time for using it as a main distro.
On boot up I'm presented with the blue screen with the options "Linux (on /dev/sda1)" and various "install grub" choices. Many other distros have a similar screen, usually allowing a few seconds for choice (perhaps for dual boot systems) before automatically continuing. I'd like this facility with Puppy.
It's probably only a line or two but I'm unsure and as Puppy seems to have a twitchy relationship with Grub, I thought it wise to ask around before barging in.
Can anyone help with a work round?

re autoboot

To have Puppy continue to boot automatically from the grub menu, all you have to do is add these lines to the beginning of/boot/grub/menu.lst

default=0
timeout=5

timeout is the amount of time grub waits before booting the OS pointed to by default.
The greater the value for timeout, the longer you have to make a selection.
The default value works with the first puppy entry being 0, the second being 1 and so forth.
So if the OS you want to boot is the third entry, you would use default=2.

Hope that helps you to automate booting.

Thank you 8-bit.
That works perfectly. I was certain that it would be something similar but I was nervous about trying it with Puppy as it's not quite like other distros.
Thanks again.
