Invisible Contacts link in top menu bar.
Between the links "Mark Forums Read" and "My LQ" seems to be an invisible link to "Contacts"

I rather accidentally recognised that there seems to be an invisible link to a "Contacts" page between the "Mark Forums Read" and the "My LQ" link in the top menubar. The address of the linked page is http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...dylist&focus=1.
I am not able to click it, I can only use this link if I use the tab key to cycle through the links.
I am not sure if this link simply should not be there or is just missing its caption.

I'm not able top reproduce this. What is the exact URL you're seeing this on? Can anyone else confirm? A screenshot may help.

Bug reproducible with Firefox 5.0 (Screenshot) and Seamonkey 2.2 (Screenshot)
I have focused the invisible Link with the Tab-key, you can see the little dots in the red circle that indicate that the link is focused.
When I press Enter to activate the link it leads me to this site.

The bug occurs on every site that has the top menu on it.

Astonishingly I couldn't reproduce that with Konqueror, since the menu looks different (Screenshot).

OS: Slackware 13.37 (32 + 64 bit)
Browsers:
  • Firefox 5.0 with AdBlock+ (enabled and disabled) and Clippings extensions
  • Seamonkey 2.2 with AdBlock+ (enabled and disabled) extension
  • Konqueror (KDE 4.5.5), no extensions

You're either blocking Javascript or using another extension that is breaking the layout (ie. this is a client side issue from what I can tell, not something LQ-related). I can confirm that it's not related to ad block.

Note that we've made a change that should work around this.

Thanks, works now.

Sidenote: I am using the default Firefox install of Slackware (just looked, Javascript is enabled) with only Adblock+ and Clippings (for managing text modules) extensions, otherwise stock installation.
