Yahoo's sign-in seal technology

Hello everyone,

Yahoo is using a technology called sign-in seal to protect password stolen. Check,

http://mail.yahoo.com

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/ed...cy/edit-39.html

Does any one know what it is and whether there are any documents/SDK supporting that feature? I have Googled, but only can find advertisements ...

thanks in advance,
George

It's a Technology used by Yahoo! to prevent Phishing

i.e. This makes sure that you are giving your login and password on a yahoo sever page and not on some fradulent website..

Don't you think it's a bit too late..

I believe yahoo will store a file ID in a cookie, then it will display the image corresponding to that file id when you visit the site... seems pretty straightforward to me.
