[SOLVED] What's the mean "JX" option use "make"

Dear Sir.

I have a queston for option of make.

I'm show below text in the Makefile.

Code:

Make JX=$(JX)

What's the mean this option's?

It is not -j option(for multi core).

Please advise to me.

it looks like a macro definition in the command line, JX will be set to the current value of the JX, so this variable is passed to the invoked make process. (In general $(MAKE) should be used instead of make).
