Cool Wavefront to JSON question...

...that's been haunting me some time now.
I'm learning WebGL, and love it. The models are a pain in the soft spot, though.
Tried to export from Blender to Three.js format and feed that to WebGL...bad idea.
So...here's the question:

Anyone have some tips for a Python (that i yet have to learn it seems) script that runs in the console (of course) takes a wavefromt OBJ file as input and exports a PURE JSON file of a model...
I'd go for Collada, but the snag is, WebGL seems to take a shine to JSON only...unless I'm wrong...

And, but this is a sub question , does anyone model in Blender here? Something about fantasy creatures...the clever reader will possibly understand where I'm going: I'm not very good with Blender (yet) and would like to have a JSON model to play with that's a but more fun to look at than the spinning doughnut

Thanks for a reply Gang

Thor

After some looking around, I can answer the question in part:

- The OBJ model is easy to parse and...
- I'll have to learn Python, no way around it...

Keepin' this thread open for a while, just to add some more usefull stuff in the (near/far/distant/extreme distant) future
