Usb interrupt handler

Im having problems creating a usb driver that reads from the interrupt pipe. For some unknown reason, the entire kernel crashes, as a result I can not get any debug information, from the terminal or the log files.

The driver has no problem reading and writing bulk messages, and using a packet sniffer I can see that one packet is read from the interrupt pipe before the crash.

Does any have a clue to what could cause this, wish I could give more info, but the log files are open during the crash, and as a result do not save.

Thanks in advance.

sorry - what's an interrupt pipe? (I'm not a kernel developer).
