USB - HID device enumeration process

Hi All,

I have a USB -HID compound as well as composite device.

It is compound device because, it consists of two different devices embedded within a single device through a hub.

It is a composite device because within the same device, there are two functionalities i.e they same device belongs to audio as well as HID class.

I am interested in performing Asynchronous Input and Output operations on this complex device. Following are my queries:

1) How to obtain file handles to perform I/O operations? Basically I need to know from where we can obtain the file path required to open the file?

2) Can we use 'aio_read' and 'aio_write' calls for I/O operations?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Anmol
