usb gadget printer driver application

Hi,

I am using iMX25(ARM9) board to which i have ported 2.6.31 kernel and i have loaded the usb gadget printer driver, i have made an application which will open the driver from user space "/dev/g_printer" and read data from host and print to printer through "lp" command such that "cups" is running. Now the issue is whenever my application is running if i unplug the usb the driver will crash without informing that usb is disconnected?

How to resolve this issue.

Instead of removing the USB, why dont you try removing the g_printer.ko module
just do
Code:
rmmod g_printer.ko
I think you should be getting a segmentation fault ?
