Dude, find freedom with GCC! GCC is far better; it implements all the international standards. Turbo C does not implement all of them.

Is there any nice link where we can download C programs that work with both gcc and turbo C ? I'd like to use the wget.h lib but not present.

damn, I get this error with turbo C:

"This is a Windows NT character-mode executable".

Maybe it's concerned with a newline style which is different for Unix and Windows.

Nothing wrong with Turbo C, but I'd pick gcc since it's bundled with everything *nix nowadays. Makes it less of a hassle, less stuff to learn.
