threads


hi all

i tried threads in c.
but it has some problems for my application so,
is there any way to write threads(create threads)
in scripting languages(pearl,ruby,bash etc...).

please help me

I doubt it.

What problems did you have - I assume you used pthreads. Tell us about them, and we can help you work it out.

yes i used pthread
my application is gui based. i used gtk for it.
i am calling threads in some function(not in main())
in that thread it have to open() some some url.
for this my gtk application is hanging.

this is the problem

can you help me
