Hi 'need help linuxmint9',

Did you select "URL" at the first step at Zamzar? A youtube url is not a file to upload.

Hi 'need help linuxmint9',
your remark 'i can not run any programs off the net' seems to me you have more problems than just ZamZar.
Can you enter any text at the URL input at STEP1 in Zamzar? To determine if Copy&Paste is the problem, or something else.

i found another program for getting videos so i will not have to use zamzar.....
the problem with not being able to run programs off the internet is another problem

Good. Your problem is solved. But you should also post what solved your problem. Which program did you use? It will help others reading this post solve similar problems.
