the choice of language..........

hi all,

iam in need of a program that can be used to accept details from client (username and password) thru a web browser ,then if they are authorized, get details from a database (postgresql) and display it into their browser.


which programming language should i go for?

thanx.....i use redhat7.0!

I'm rather fond of PHP (OK - Very fond of it), but Perl, Python, Ruby, C, and many others are practical.
