Text mode php editors??

Hello. I am forming a team to develop a web based application based on php and postgre sql. I am currently trying to find text based php editors, coz i can only provide terminals to the developers. Is there any, that you guys would recommend? I will be needing CVS suppost as well.

What other good tools are there to test php for form, style and possible bugs that would probably not show up as errors. Thanks in advance.

vim is pretty good on the CLI.

I'm not sure what other errors you could test for but you may want to run the output through html tidy to make sure it is valid html.

PHP mode for emacs:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/php-mode/

Most people will need at most 3-4 cvs commands. You don't really need a front end other than the command line. You might make some scripts/aliases to provide project wide options.

Hi

If I remember correctly, Rh6.5 had a "emacs-nox" - this was a text mode EMACS editor with all the of the GUI EMACS's functionality.

Google for this - I think it is wat you are looking for - i. e. "emacs-nox".

Regards,
